History: The origin of Lans/Lazarus' hatred of non-humans is unknown. Excelling in biochemistry when he was in school, Lans started up TruPharm Incorporated in Seattle. As he set up TruPharm-Net, hackers became a severe problem. Lans solved this by going to a computer expert he knew in town: David Gabbiani. He and Gabbiani joined forces as Lans moved TruPharm into Great Codex for its new headquarters. Gabbiani began to set up a new security system for TruPharm-Net, arranging it so the network could only be accessed from Great Codex, thus severely limiting hackers' opportunities. About seven years ago, Gabbiani decided to go on a trip to the Resonate System to track down some persistent hackers. During his absence, a newly spawned virus turned up in TruPharm, eventually damaging one of Lans' eyes. His budding intolerance for non-huamns flourished and Lans set up the True Force, a religious group dedicated to the eradication of all non-humans. This was furthered after Gabbiani contacted him, informing him of his resignation to stay with a better offer with a group of sprites in the Resonate. Lans began to call himself Lazarus after getting his eye replaced and then proceeded to withdraw from public view, but made his views on non-huamns clear. He continues to run TruPharm Inc. from his seclusion, now the world's most prominent anti-non-human recluse.

Character: Lazarus is a lean man with a hawk-like nose and arrogant eyes. His right eye was lost in a skirmish with Lean Il Lupe about seven years ago, and is now a cybernetic glowing red. Lazarus is extremely religious, believing all non-humans to be demon-spawn, and holds that the Metaverse is the property of humanity by right. He has no compunctions for killing non-humans, considering them humanity's creations, and thus they have the right to do away with them if they wish. Lazarus has long dark hair and never goes out in public.
